I love oven fries and having enjoyed sweet potato and yucca fries as an alternative to potatoes, I was curious to try turnip fries for a while. This makes just 2-3 servings as turnips are smaller than potatoes, so please be sure to adjust accordingly if making for larger groups! Great for me as a diabetic as the cake mix doesn't have much sugar added and makes alot ... Very simple, takes very few ingredients great for a bare cupboard treat ... Takes very little time and effort yummy to me as Iove peanut butter and chocolate cookies ... Its hard to find a recipe thats not going to spike my blood sugar, warning its not a low carb recipe, just no extra sugar added! Makes enough that the sugar already in cake mix doesn't seem to matter much for my bg ... A little crumbly
